By accessing or using the Billo Invoicing platform (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use our Service.

Billo Invoicing is a web-based invoicing software platform designed for freelancers and small businesses. Our Service allows you to create, manage, and send invoices to your clients.
- You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account
- While we don't verify age, you must be legally capable of entering into binding contracts
Available Plans
- Free Tier: Limited to 10 clients, all other features unlimited
- Starter: $7/month (or $5/month billed annually) - unlimited clients and features
- Professional: $20/month (or $15/month billed annually) - unlimited clients and features
Billing and Cancellation
- Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually in advance
- You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings
- Upon cancellation, you retain access to your paid plan until the end of your current billing period
- Refunds may be provided at our discretion and are subject to approval
- Free trial periods (when available) will be clearly communicated during signup
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Upload, store, or transmit any content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, or violates any laws
- Upload inappropriate, offensive, or copyrighted images without proper authorisation
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or other users' accounts
- Use the Service for any fraudulent or deceptive practises
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
- Create false or misleading invoices for illegal purposes
- Violate any applicable local, national, or international laws
Your Content
- You retain full ownership of all data, invoices, and content you create using our Service
- You grant us a limited licence to store, process, and display your content solely to provide the Service
- You have the right to download and use your invoices as you see fit
- You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of all content you upload
Our Content
- The Billo Invoicing platform, including its design, features, and functionality, is owned by Billo Software Ltd
- You may not copy, modify, or distribute our platform or its components
- We perform daily backups of all user data
- Data recovery is performed only when necessary and at our discretion
- Images are stored securely through our third-party provider, UploadThing
- We are not liable for any data loss, though we make reasonable efforts to prevent it
- We strive to maintain high service availability but do not guarantee 100% uptime
- Our hosting provider maintains a 99.9% Service Level Agreement
- We may perform scheduled maintenance that temporarily affects service availability
- We are not liable for any losses resulting from service interruptions
Termination by You
- You may delete your account at any time through your account settings
- Upon account deletion, all your data, including clients, invoices, and uploaded content, will be permanently deleted
Termination by Us
We may suspend or terminate your account if you:
- Violate these Terms of Service
- Use the Service for illegal activities
- Upload inappropriate or harmful content
- Fail to pay subscription fees (for paid plans)
- Engage in activities that harm our Service or other users
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:
- We provide the Service "as is" without warranties of any kind
- We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim
- We are not responsible for any business losses, lost profits, or data loss
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Billo Software Ltd from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

- We may modify or discontinue the Service at any time with reasonable notice to users
- We may update these Terms from time to time, with material changes communicated via email or platform notification
- Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms

- If we cannot resolve disputes directly, they will be governed by the laws of England and Wales
